TOPOL 27 is a prefab module housing that provides maximum comfortable space to be used in the minimum area. This project was designed by BIO architects using eco-friendly and wear-resistant materials. The end result is a 27 square meter cabin with a large glass surface that connects occupants to the natural surroundings. This cabin is set in the pine river country hotel on the protva river bank, Russia. This vacation cabin now serves as an ideal retreat for those who wish to be closer to nature.
BIO Architects put together all the necessary functions in one module so that residents no longer need to assemble houses from separate blocks. The 27 square meter room consists of five functional areas, namely bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and dressing room. All this can be picked up by the buyer himself from the warehouse for immediate use. This project was created as a product for business, ready-to-live cabins offer everything that residents might need from furniture, kitchens, curtains, plates, tableware, household appliances, lighting, and terraces. Most interior items are selected from chain stores, so they can be quickly replaced as this is very important for a rental business.
Entering the interior, natural oak is combined with black metal, stone countertops and glass. The floor is made of a wear-resistant and hypoallergenic material called “forbo flotex”. Most of the glass harmoniously connects the interior with the natural environment outdoors. Expensive materials, stone kitchen countertops, wooden windows and doors set a premium level of décor and service, emphasizing the contrast between the wild and the cozy modern interior. To warm the room, this cabin is equipped with a compact oven that easily heats the entire room, creates comfort, and can be used for cooking.
The exterior of the cabin is made of black metal and wood. This solution fits perfectly into any environment, doesn’t dominate nature and looks to blend in with a large number of cabin designs. The large glass windows beside the bed give views to the river and forest on the other side. The location combines openness to the outside world and privacy, opening up to nature from one side and hiding the room from the curious prying eyes of the roadside.
