Offering a unique experience from a villa in Uluwatu, Bali. The Private Jet Villa is built from the fuselage of a Boeing 737 and is perched on the edge of a cliff with beautiful views of the beach. A premium villa on a real Boeing plane is a location where you need to stay at least once in your life. This villa is located on the Bukit Peninsula, on the edge of a cliff at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level. The plane initially operated in Indonesia, but after being decommissioned, the plane was moved to the location using a crane and then converted into a villa.
There were many challenges during the renovation process, the house had to be placed on the cliffside, and there was also a lack of space and strange dimensions to deal with. To overcome this problem, the studio installed a new ventilation and air conditioning system, which hid the electrical system and water supply in the cargo hold. The furniture is specially designed to fit the room’s curved walls. This studio reduces space limitations through the use of natural wood, light colors and concrete textures.
There is a Jacuzzi area at the bow of the plane, and on the wings there are terraces with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Despite the complex shape of the plane, the designers managed to place in it two bedrooms, a kitchen area with an island and a sofa, a jacuzzi in the former pilot’s cabin, a free-standing bath, a shower and everything necessary for comfortable accommodation. The kitchen area is hidden behind the facade, while the jacuzzi is on the podium where you can see the stars and the sea, sliding glass doors to combine the space inside the aircraft and the terrace in the wing.
In addition to rebuilding the Boeing plane itself, the studio also designed the landscape for the area. Includes a patio area, swimming pool and building for the villa staff which will house the reception staff, swimming pool and helipad. Due to the limited area of the site, a helipad was placed on the roof of the building for the staff, the building itself is bionic in shape and architecturally fits the general appearance of the site. In addition, a fence was created along the site boundary, with round slots that imitate the shape of an airplane turbine. Inside the turbine itself there is a comfortable recreation area. Spectacular trees, walkways and landscape lighting are also attractive additions.
Because of its location and unique idea, Private Jet Villa has become an attraction for hundreds of bloggers and influencers from all over the world. With increasing attention to these projects, designers want these projects to have designs that are relevant for years and not follow trends. That’s why they used noble materials in their concept, for example travertine, brass and wood, and thought about small details and user-friendly specifications. Follow along below and have an unforgettable stay!
