A relaxing holiday home has been successfully completed by Desypri & Misiaris Architecture Studio in Kastraki beach neighborhood of Naxos. Anyone who is here can hear and feel the rhythmic sound of the beach waves crashing, the reeds shaking, and the ground being blown by the wind.
Between the silver beams and the vertical light, without even a shadow. It was filled with open space overlooking the entire view of the sea, so that it expanded without a hitch.
Location, environment, light, energy and landscape are important elements of this first approach in home design. The exterior and interior create a harmonious and balanced space starting from the idea of simplicity to adding elegant details.
The end result is very satisfying, a house with lots of open space, a comprehensive view bringing new dreams and stories to reality. Being inside, residents can enjoy views of the ocean and pool from the kitchen while at the same time can see the gardens and olive groves.
At the end of the corridor the backyard olive trees are framed while at the end of the stairs are the sea and the horizon. In the same way all rooms have one or more visual stimuli from the outside environment. The house in Kastraki is one of those inspiring beachfront dream homes!
